Thousands of people in McDowell County affected by Hurricane Helene need help now. Baptist on Mission, FEMA, and the American Red Cross have boots on the ground working with local efforts to provide emergency shelter, food, and supplies for thousands of evacuees and those who have lost it all. As mudslides and flooding continues to threaten additional communities, even more people will urgently need  support.  Mcdowell Cares is working in conjunction with community partners and state and local officials to ensure help is available where needed.

Please consider making a donation to help.  Your donation enables McDowell Cares and the organizations in partnership
